What is a solitary? Are all solitaries eclectic?
A solitary is any Pagan who tends to practice their religion alone. They may attend group rituals at times, but the bulk of their rituals are done in private. Solitaries are often associated with eclectic Paganism, which is a mixture of many different traditions as the practitioner sees fit. Not all solitaries are eclectics, however; many practice with the set liturgy of a particular tradition. They may simply be between groups or like working by themselves more than working in a group.
