What is a Sneeze?
A sneeze is an involuntary, compulsive reflex that expels air from the lungs at a nearly explosive rate. Often, sneezes are caused by irritants to the nose, like pepper, or for those with allergies, dander, dust, etc. It is the body’s way of clearing out the sinuses and flushing unwanted irritants from the head’s passageways. What’s most unbelievable is that the air is expelled at 400 miles per hour!
