What is a “skirmish” report?
Sometimes we receive well written battle reports which do not correspond to the battles that we have listed as specific campaign battles – if these are well written we may include these as “skirmish” battles, battle reports displayed to reflect some of the fighting raging outside of the areas of “official interest”. The armies involved however MUST comply with the armies allowed within the theater of conflict for we simply can’t allow the involvement of battle reports which alter the basic premise of the storylines. These battles are allowed in our campaign to encourage more gamers to become involved, their impact on the campaign outcome however will be very minimal as these battles are not the key locations of the campaign conflict.
