What is a sims 2 game patch?
Well, they don’t really give you new items or gameplay but in a way they can. When you buy a sims 2 game and start playing it, you might notice something wrong or weird. That is what most of us call a glitch. EA listens (sometimes!) to the people playing the game talking about those glitches and then makes a “fix” for the glitches. Once they have a bunch of “fixes” for the game, they put up what is called a “patch” on their site. You go to their site, click on Help and Patches. Then you look for the name of the game you own and download the patch for it. Some games came out on both cd and dvd though and you need to get the correct one for the type you bought. Other games only came out on dvd, so they only offer one patch for those games. If you are playing the game using The Sims 2 Deluxe or The Sims 2 Double Deluxe though, there are no patches offered for those two games. If you then add an expansion pack such as Nightlife or Freetime, you can go and download the patch for those games
