What is a Silk base? What makes a premium unit a step above lace or thin skin wig?
Our premium units are made with a partial silk base. The silk is located at the front half of the wig and the remaining base is created with French lace. Because of this, it mimics scalp perfectly and is flawless even to high-powered camera lenses! The silk is just as cool and breathable as lace, but does not require knot bleaching as do Swiss and French bases.
