What is a SIG?
A. Special Interest Groups (SIGs) meet to discuss a common interest in a particular topic. A SIG provides excellent opportunities for developing and maintaining professional contacts, promoting industry awareness and extending the technical knowledge of members. Examples of existing SIGs are Security, Marketing, Developers, Cloud Computing, QA, and Finance. SIGs are designed to build community and facilitate wide collaboration therefore these events are free to everyone, members and non-members. We strongly encourage regular attendees to become members and support the WTIA’s role in this ecosystem; there are also added benefits at these events for the members of our organization. To see all of the benefits you can receive as a member visit WTIA Member Benefits.
