Short loan books are found in the separate short loan section on Level 3. These books, available from 2.30 until 2.30 the next day (or 2.30 on Monday, if borrowed on a Friday), are items in high demand on reading lists. They can be booked up to 7 days in advance. Users may borrow two short loan items as part of their overall allowance. They have an orange label on the spine of the cover.
