What is a sex addict or sexaholic?
DAVE: Someone who is obsessed with sex obsessed with a capital O. DENNIS: Someone who is addicted to lust. Lust is the coveting of someone else’s sexuality. Sex addicts have lost control and are unable to stop acting out their addiction to lust. They are unable to stop taking physical action to capture more and more lust, whether through using prostitutes, having affairs, viewing pornography, masturbating, etc. DAVE: Sexaholics no longer have the power of choice. DENNIS: Lust leads to more lust. Lust is a taking advantage of an individual in order to make me feel better. It is, “give to me, connect with me, and make me feel whole.” This insatiable hunger leads to some form of destructive action where we connect with lust objects rather than with those we love.
