What is a “session”, what happens when my “Session Time Left” reaches zero, and why do I keep losing information in my resume?
For security reasons, a job hunter on The Job Site must interact with the web site on a regular basis. This period of activity is called a “session”. If no activity is requested from the web server for longer than 20 minutes (i.e. the job hunter has not changed web pages for 20 minutes), the job hunter’s session will time-out. This time out helps lessen the possibility that a stranger can come along behind you and access your information if you forget to log out. In the specific case of Resume Builder, if a session has been idle for 15 minutes, a warning box pops up. This warning box indicates that the user’s session is about to expire and information entered in to Resume Builder may be lost unless the user saves the resume. If the job hunter has multiple windows open, and the Resume Builder is in the background when the 15 minute warning pops up, the session will still end even if the user doesn’t save changes to the Resume before then. There are two methods to help maintain your sess
