What is a Sequencing Batch Reactor?
Sequencing batch reactors (SBR) or sequential batch reactors are industrial processing tanks for the treatment of wastewater. SBR reactors treat biosolids, sewage, sludge or other output from aerobic or anaerobic digesters in “batches.” At HTI, we call our SBR plant designs the total wastewater solution. Engineered and designed to treat a variety of influent loadings or mandated discharge parameters, HTI’s sequencing batch reactor designs incorporate many “Last Almost Forever” features: • HTI’s SBR Design Features Stainless Steel Aeration Piping • HTI’s SBR Design Features Non-Clog Wide Band Medium-Fine Bubble Diffusers • HTI’s SBR Design Features Ultra High Strength Precast Concrete Tank System • HTI’s SBR Design Features B-2 Liquid Lime Stabilization System • HTI’s SBR Design Features Ultra Quiet / Long Life Submersible Blowers HTI’s experienced professional team of sequential batch reactor designers can custom build an SBR facility to suit your individual wastewater treatment specif
