A SEOG is a Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant. WITC is awarded a limited amount of SEOG from the federal government every year. We then award it to the students with the highest financial need until the money runs out. • What is a work-study job? The Federal Work-study program provides jobs to eligible students. You have the opportunity to earn money toward funding your education as well as gain valuable work experience. Most jobs are on-campus and offer more flexibility than a traditional part-time job in that your class is considered when setting up your work schedule. In most cases, your hours can be worked in hour increments between your classes and no night and/or weekends are required. • How do I apply for a work-study job?
