What is a section conclave?
There are four regions in the OA each of these regions has sections in them. Our region, the Southern Region, has 10 sections in it. We are in Section 2. Once a year every section has an event in which all of the lodges in the section come together for training, leadership development, fellowship and fun. How long does a section conclave last? A conclave lasts one whole weekend. Registration starts Friday night with other evening activities and the event ends on Sunday after an awards ceremony and section elections. What happens at a section conclave? To name a few of the things that will be happening at the SR-2 conclave: amazing shows, great training from trainers all over the area, national officers and out of section VIP guests, American Indian events and competitions, ceremony competitions, sporting competitions and recreation, and other Indian activities, a patch auction, a section themed party, and section elections.
