What is a secret shopper and why should I participate?
Secret shoppers pose as normal customers to perform specific taskssuch as purchasing a product, asking questions, registering complaints or behaving in a certain way and then provide detailed reports or feedback about their experience in survey form. This survey data can then be used to help individual stores improve their customer service and product offerings. The impetus for the creation of a specific Garden Center secret shopper program was to ensure those secret shoppers visiting your location are familiar with the green industry retail shopping experience. The secret shoppers in this program will be either other garden center managers or employees. They will be able to give you honest, accurate feedback from a green industry perspective!
