What is a Round Number Calculation?
Round Number Calculation occurs during an overflow error. For example (on an 8 digit calculator): 99,999,999 x 123 would give the result E 122.99999. The round number of the result is the display value x 100,000,000, which in this case is 12,299,999,000 (the actual answer would be 12,299,999,877). You can press [C] to clear the error and continue the calculation.
