What is a River Features Inventory?
The river recreation features theme is very similar to the ‘land’ recreation features theme. The difference is in the ‘area’ being covered. The river recreation inventory is only includes approximately 10 meters on either shore (left and right bank) from high water, and includes the river itself. The river inventory is made up of ‘zones’ which are sections of the river delineated by the similarities in recreation features (section 4.2.5) and the setting (section 8.2).
