What is a Risk and Expense Purchase?
Ans. Risk and expense purchase is undertaken by the purchaser in the event of the supplier failing to honour the contracted obligations within the stipulated period and where extension of delivery period is not approved. Such purchase is at the cost and expense of the Supplier who is liable to pay the additional amount spent by the Purchaser, provided such a clause exists in the Contract.
