What is a rising rate fuel pressure regulator?
A rising rate fuel pressure regulator is used in vehicles to ensure fuel pressure is maintained proportional to boost pressure or above the intake manifold pressure. Electronic fuel injector (EFI) vehicles have regulators for timing the fuel pressure and which need to be maintained. The maintenance of fuel delivery relative to air flow meter signals also needs to be timed as well to ensure optimum injector operation.References:X Speed: What Is a Fuel Pressure Regulator?
