The Right Brain Interview is 75 to 90 minutes long. The interviewer uses visualization, repetition and relaxation techniques. Interviews are conducted one-on-one, with respondents in a relaxed position with their eyes closed. The interviewer guides respondents through the interview, asking them to picture places and experiences and probing carefully to uncover emotionally rich material. It is not uncommon for respondents to have insights into their feelings about a particular topic for the very first time during the Right Brain Interview!
