Resurrection: What is a Resurrection? What Does the Bible Say About Jesus’ Resurrection? Tuesday February 10, 2009 The concept of resurrection refers to the idea of dead people who have found special favor with their deity such that they rise from the dead, restored to bodily form. Through most of the Old Testament, the concept of resurrection was applied to the whole of Israel in its renewal after returning from exile and not at all to individuals after their death.
