What is a Resident Assistant and can I apply to be one?
Resident Assistants are students, just like you, who are employed by the Housing office to provide assistance to all residents. RAs are upperclassmen that have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, and go through a rigorous training to provide you with the best possible service. RAs are available 24 hours a day to help you with a variety of things including roommate conflicts. Your freshman year is a good time to get to know the RAs, to visit your complex office and to meet your Resident Director. It is never too early to think about putting in your own application to be an RA. Click HERE to learn more.
