What is a remote row key, and how do I get one?
A remote row key is a unique identifier that is assigned by the process that inserts the donor record or related donor data records to ensure the data is unique to that row across physical system boundaries. At the point the row is added to DonorNet® or a remote system, the GUID is used to ensure that the new data will port between systems and have a unique identifier assigned by the agent that initiates the storage event. This way data can be exchanged freely and reconciled freely based on this remote row key.
