What Is A “Remarque”?
A Remarque is when Jane adds a small “original painting” in the margin of a Limited Edition Print. It usually captures a central focus point of the painting. This Original Remarque is desirable by many collectors. There are only a few Remarque edition prints done for each edition. The most serious art collectors seek out Remarques and Serigraphs when ever possible. Remarques are generally done on Serigraphs, but by special request, they can be done on lithographs as well.
