What is a Release Agent and do I have to use it?
Yes, you must use a Release Agent. A Release Agent keeps the concrete from sticking to the stamp. It comes in two forms, dry powder (always colored) and liquid release ( clear – no color provided – often referred to as “Bubblegum” because it smells like bubblegum). Either agent works fine but the powder will provide an accent color and the clear won’t.
