What is a relation between cultures and religions?
When different religions were founded in different parts of the world they included some of the cultural beliefs and behaviours that existed in that part of the world at that time to make it easier for people to accept the religion and make them more likely to follow it. A good example of this is the dates on which Christians celebrate religious holidays like Christmas – these are based on (and include some aspects of) pagan celebrations. Once a religion attracts a large enough following it becomes part of the culture of the societies that follow it.
