What is a Related Service Authorization (RSA)?
When The New York City Department of Education does not currently have staff available to provide a service that has been recommended for your child, you will receive a Related Service Authorization for this service. The RSA allows you to obtain this service from an independent non-DOE provider of your choice at no cost to you.
