What is a registered forester?
A registered forester is a professional trained in the art and science of managing forests. He or she has a bachelor’s degree or higher degree in an accredited forestry curriculum at a college or university. Before one of these trained professionals can practice forestry they must be licensed by the Board of Registration for Foresters. To become licensed, they must pass a written or oral exam administered by the Board.
