What is a regionally accredited college or university?
Accrediting agencies are private educational associations that develop criteria and conduct evaluations to determine whether or not a college or university meets the established criteria. There are many different accrediting agencies including regional accrediting agencies and postsecondary institutions of education must request an agency evaluation to receive accreditation from that agency. Transfer credit at Quinnipiac University is accepted only from regionally accredited colleges or universities.
