What is a “Regional Code” for a DVD?
i think your daughter is out the money. usually it has the regional code for the dvd on the box (1-6. The US and Canada are 1 and Europe and parts of the middle east are 2) the dvd can only be played in a player from the same code and cannot be changed as far as i know. some dvds (mostly pirated ones) do not have this code. no i dont think its the same as the country code. for further info see the wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_region_…
