Advantage West Midlands (AWM) is the Regional Development Agency for the West Midlands. Around £300 million is invested each year into activity that will help transform the West Midlands’ economy. To ensure that disadvantaged groups and communities benefit from wider economic activity there is a particular focus where deprivation is most acute – in the Regeneration Zones, market towns and selected coalfield areas. Six Regeneration Zones were identified to help target funding to areas of greatest need. Where is the Coventry and Nuneaton Regeneration Zone? The CNRZ covers much of North/Central Coventry and the A444 corridor northwards through Nuneaton and Bedworth. Around 202,000 people live in the area, 52,000 of these within Warwickshire.
