What is a reflexive access list and how does it affect my application when connecting to VPN?
A reflexive access list is a policy configured on the router to permit ONLY inbound traffic generated in reaction to a hosts outbound traffic. In our case, all VPN IP addresses are allowed to make any outgoing connections but accept ONLY the inbound connections that are responding to the outgoing ones. Consequently, you will not be able to use applications (e.g. FTP in active mode) that require other machines (e.g. FTP server) to initiate a connection to your machine. As the solution, you will need to either change the configuration of your application to comply with the reflexive access lists (e.g. changing from active FTP to passive FTP) or disconnect from VPN while using your particular application. I cannot find the answer to my question in this FAQ.
