What Is a Red Mange Treatment Dip?
Red mange is a skin disorder caused by mites. All dogs have mites living at the root of the hair follicle. But when the normal population experiences a sudden growth spurt, the result is rough, red, scaly skin and an itchy, unhappy pup. When the mange is only visible on a small area of skin, it is known as localized mange and is generally not treated, as 90 percent of these cases clear up on their own. However, in the other 10 percent of cases, the mange expands and spreads, eventually covering the majority of the body.
