Well, firstly, eating raw, to me, is not a ‘diet’. It’s a way of living. It’s a way to get the most nutrients, vitamins, minerals and enzymes from your food for increased energy, mood, purpose in life and more. …and frankly you don’t need to eat all of your meals raw to get some great results. What eating raw doesn’t mean to me is that I eat raw meat or other animal products. It’s a plant-based lifestyle, meaning that the foods I eat are derived from plant sources. Animal protein has not only been shown to increase the risk of common Western diseases like heart disease, cancer and diabetes, but it’s also a key factor in weight gain.
