What is a Rationalists?
• 1. The so called Age Of Reason of the sixteenth through the eighteenth centuries established the notion that man alone was sufficient to reason out everything he needed to know. • 2. A Rationalists is therefore someone who does not feel the need for God or a revelation from God. • 3. Rationalism has long rejected the God of the Bible and the concept of a supernatural revelation. • 4. Unfortunately, this has, at times, led Christians to develop an anti-intellectual bias. • 5. Rationalism, however, must not be confused with rationality. • B. What Is Rationality? • 1. Rationality simply refers to using logical, reasonable thought processes. • 2.
