What is a radio read meter?
In the Queensbury water system all water use must be metered. Currently we are installing water meters with a radio read device. This allows us to directly read the meter from the street. If you currently have an older non radio read meter, we will replace the meter at no charge to you. The water meter simply is connected to a transmitter that we supply. That transmitter is approximately 6″ x 6″ and is mounted inside your cellar. Please call 745-5582, Monday – Friday between 8:00 and 4:30 to arrange for the installation of a radio read meter.
