What is a quick change rear end?
The quick change rear end is made by Speedway Engineering. It is designed to make regearing of the rear end a simple and fast task. The back plate of the rear end is secured with six 9/16 nuts. Once the nuts are removed the two drive gears are slid out and the new gearing is installed in its place. The whole operation of regearing the rear end takes no more than ten minutes. The number of gear ratios that are available are somewhere around 30 different ratios.
