What is a Qualifying Day for Statutory Sick Pay?
An Employee’s Qualifying Days are normally defined to be the days of the week that he or she usually works for you. Bank Holidays do not affect the pattern of Qualifying Days. It is possible to choose an alternative set of Qualifying Days, by agreement with your workforce.
