What is a proper golf swing path?
The proper path for a golf swing is better understood with three positions in the golf swing. You need to follow the golf club positioning in these positions in your personal golf swing for that proper golf swing path. The first swing position to be noted is at the start of the takeway. The clubhead should be positioned for an inside turn while still staying in front of our hands. In this position, the shoulders, arms, wrists and hands are placed in the same relative position as they were before the occurrence of the takeway. This one-piece takeway is vital for a proper golf swing path. The second swing position is when the shaft is parallel to the ground or near it when the backswing begins. Here the toe of the clubhead needs to be pointed to the sky upwards for a neutral swing. In this position too, the shoulders, arms and hands get together for a great swing.
