What is a Project Request Form (PRF) (External Grants)?

0

A Project Request Form is completed by principal investigators requesting a new project or their research. A PRF outlines the information necessary for Research Accounting to open and administer the project. These details include the sponsor’s contact information, the funding amount, financial reporting requirements, project details and term, certifications and approvals. A copy of the proposal, notice of award, budget and any requisite certifications will be attached to the PRF. Approvals from the Investigator, Department, Dean and Research Services are required on the PRF to approve the opening of a new research project.
