What is a probate of will and for letters testamentary?
You take a will to Probate Court to have it “probated” or enforced. The executor is given letters testamentary (letters of authorization by the court) to use to handle business for the deceased. It allows the executor to do everything they need to do to get everything stated in the will done and the estate disposed of.
