What is a print quota? Why do we have them?
A print quota is a limit on the number of pages you are allowed to print. We have print quotas because laserprinting (especially the toner) is expensive, and we can’t afford to let everybody print all they want for free. The print quotas are set high enough so that most people will normally be able to do all their printing without running out of pages. For the purpose of quotas, a “page” is what you’d expect: a printed side of a sheet of paper.
