What is a Principle Based Education?
A Principle Based Education is education in which students are taught to research from original or primary source documents (the founding documents of our nation, journal, letters, autobiographies); reason for themselves core principles such as: Individuality, Self-Government, Moral Virtue, Honor, Charity, Civility, Discipline, Diligence/Industry, Integrity, Optimism, Brotherly Love and Faith and Steadfastness, Conscience, Patriotism and Cultural Literacy; relate these principles/values to their own lives, and record their experiences through a variety of methods.
