What is a primary care physician (PCP), and why do I need one?
Your Plan PCP is your point of contact for healthcare. Usually a PCP is a family practice physician, an internist, or a pediatrician. Your PCP acts as your healthcare partner along with Optima Health helping you get the care you need. You must select an in-network or Plan PCP for yourself and each of your eligible dependents when you enroll.
