What is a presenter?
A Presenting Organization (often referred to as a “presenter”) works to facilitate exchanges between artists and audiences through creative, educational and performance opportunities. Rather than having a resident company, the Scottsdale Center for the Arts books nationally touring artists. They are different from producing organizations (such as opera, theater companies, dance companies and orchestras) which are responsible for the creation of an artistic work or assemble artists to perform as an ensemble for a performance. Adapted from the Association of Performing Arts Presenters. There is more than just presenting performances.
