For all cases in which Sunset has provided a preliminary report, the client radiology group will render the official interpretation, and issue a written final report within 24 hours. The final report supersedes the preliminary report. In comparison to a preliminary report, the final report may contain additional information regarding comparison exams and complementary imaging modalities, and may describe non-emergent findings that require follow-up. Referring physicians must review the final reports for their patients.
