What is a Pre-Licensing Course?
Succesfully completing an approved PreLicensing course acts as a substitute for passing the state exam. The Texas adjuster PreLicensing course consists of: • 30 hours of classtime (can be online or in a classroom). • 10 hours of self-study. • An examination. The prelicensing exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions. A grade of 70% or higher is needed to pass.
