What is a pre-existing health condition and would I be covered for travel insurance?
An out-of-Canada medical emergency includes an accidental injury or illness not previously diagnosed or treated in Canada. Treatment required for a medical condition previously diagnosed in Canada is excluded. The pre-diagnosed condition must be completely stable at the time of departure from Canada.
