What is a Pre-Admission phone call?
It is very important that we review your medical history before your surgery. All patients undergoing a procedure or surgery at the center should contact or be contacted by the nurse several days prior to surgery to avoid cancellations. Our trained Pre-Admission Registered Nurse will review your allergies, medications, previous surgeries, medical conditions etc…with you prior to your admission. The purpose of this phone call will help the anesthesiologist and staff prepare for your surgery to ensure your safety. You should contact the Surgery Center once you have received a date for your surgery to speak with the nurse. The phone call will take about 20 minutes.
