What is a Practitioner Teaching Program (PTP)?
The PTP is an extension of CTF and allows CTF to offer the full new teacher preparation experience, from recruitment through the recommendation for certification. The PTP, in conjunction with the Teaching Fellows program, is a state approved teacher certification program that pioneers new ways of preparing effective teachers for high-need schools. It provides rigorous and relevant training to prepare recent college graduates and career changers to have an immediate impact on student achievement in high-need schools.
