Every major in the College of Education has some type of practicum or field experience. Most teacher licensure programs contain more than one practica or field experience in which students go into a classroom for a specified amount of time each week. Usually, students present lesson plans and perform other teacher-related commitments. Majors which do not lead to teacher licensure also have some type of internship or field experience.
