What is a Power of Attorney and a Health Care Directive?
A will does nothing if you are unable to care for yourself before you die. A durable power of attorney for property management says who you want as an agent to take care of your finances if you are not able to do so yourself. A health care directive says who will make medical decisions for you if you are not able to and tells people your wishes for life support.
